Domaine de la Fond Moiroux is situated in the hills of Cogny in South Beaujolais where a young team of wine lovers is working at a very high standard to ensure that the grapes are harvested at exactly the right maturity to produce the best possible result.

The Cru Brouilly situated in the north of the Beaujolais region has rather fine granitic (flinty) soil, perfectly suited to the cultivation of the Gamay grape. The harvested grapes are carefully worked to ensure that the results express the best characteristics of these fabulous soils.

Beaujolais 2010 Cuvée Volaine

Pale ruby color, clear, shiny. The nose is clean and delightful on small red and black berries, the blackberry, the blueberry, the redcurrant and a touch of blackcurrant leaf on a smoked background. The attack on the palate is round and fleshy, restoring the fruity character of the berries; the evolution is supple, supported by the freshness and the liveliness onto the finish.
